Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of talents, including being able to act, direct, produce, write plays, teach, and be director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending rehearsals for performances as a kid and watching her mom working. When she was a child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in Ontario for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade following, she made the move into Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They were engaged by 2009 after getting married. Anna has since converted to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were wed in the month of December in Fredericton. In April of 2011, they renew their vows in a Jewish ceremony. Bo and Lauren's relationship (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's all-time favorite TV couple list. The couple was also recognized by E! as the top television couple of 2013.
