Harry

Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to to the world of pop music, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. Born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own band, White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they took home the trophy. The musician always had an interest in music but would like to work as a lawyer or physical therapist. In order to provide for the needs of his children, he spent an hour or so working in a bakery. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 for The X Factor. Because of this, his band needed to be disbanded. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were founded in the year 2010. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the candidates for the prize. They were however in third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner. Cowell had paid two million pounds under a contract with One Direction.
